Terry Rachel Kind, MD, MPH

Terry Kind, MD, MPH, is a pediatrician at Children's National Anacostia, a community-based health center in Southeast Washington, D.C. She also serves as the associate dean for Clinical Education and as professor of pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. Kind served as the director of Pediatrics Medical Student Education from 2008-2015. She was a founding member and former medical director of DC Reach Out and Read. She is board certified in pediatrics, has been a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P.) since 2002. Her professional interests include medical education, narrative writing, social media and professionalism.
