Biografía

Seth Berger, MD, PhD, returned to Children’s National Hospital as faculty in 2018. He completed the medical scientist training program at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where he was awarded his MD and PhD degrees. His research at that time focused on computational analysis of signaling networks applied to prediction of adverse drug events and cardiac arrhythmia syndromes.

He subsequently completed the combined pediatrics and medical genetics residency program through Children's National and the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He spent an additional year completing the medical biochemical genetics fellowship program at NIH before returning to Children's National where he was jointly hired by the Rare Disease Institute and the Center for Genetic Medicine Research.
