Rebecca Chavez, FNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in general surgery at Children’s National. She also serves as a key member of the hospital’s Thoracic and Foregut Program, providing advanced care for pediatric patients with complex surgical needs.

With over a decade of nursing experience and a Master of Science in nursing from Pace University, Rebecca has worked across top institutions including New York-Presbyterian, Northwell Health and Rady Children’s Hospital. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality and family-centered care.
