Biografía
Mi-Young Ryee, PhD, is a child clinical psychologist in the Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health at Children's National Hospital.
She is the co-director of the Anxiety Disorders Program and provides clinical care, both evaluation and treatment, for a wide range of anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobia, selective mutism, panic disorder and OCD. Dr. Ryee utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in individual and group therapy settings for children and adolescents. She also has expertise in pediatric psychology and working with youth with chronic health conditions around coping with illness, adherence to treatment and treating comorbid anxiety within the medical context.
Dr. Ryee is also co-chair of the Psychology and Behavioral Health Diversity Committee and participates in the training of psychology pre-doctoral externs and interns.
