Marijean M. Miller, MD

Marijean Miller, MD, is an expert in all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus; she has cared for children at Children’s National Hospital for more than 15 years. Dr. Miller also sees adults with strabismus. She is a recognized clinician, surgeon and teacher. She has been named in Washingtonian Magazine's "Guide to Best Area Ophthalmologists" three times.

Dr. Miller is board-certified in ophthalmology and a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the Academy of Ophthalmology. She is an elected committee member at the Food and Drug Administration. Her publications are numerous on topics in pediatric eye care, including amblyopia, strabismus, retinopathy of prematurity, visual disabilities in children and rare disease case reports, as well as original research using spectral Doppler ultrasound to evaluate the optic nerve.
