Mariella Medina, PA-C, MPH, is a physician assistant (PA) in the Division of General and Thoracic Surgery at Children’s National Hospital. She earned dual master’s degrees in physician assistant studies and public health from Tufts University School of Medicine, building on her undergraduate studies in public health science at the University of Maryland.

With a strong foundation in public health and experience in emergency and acute cardiac care settings prior to PA school, Mariella remains committed to providing quality healthcare for all children while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. She is particularly dedicated to pediatric and family-centered medicine, integrating her clinical expertise with her public health background to optimize outcomes for children and their families.
