Lena Diane Baram, MD

Lena Baram, MD, FAAP, earned her undergraduate degree in the biological basis of behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She completed her internship and residency in General Pediatrics as well as a one-year fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics at The New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, New York.

Dr. Baram practiced General Pediatrics in Smithtown, New York from 1998 until 2017 and was an Assistant Clinical Professor of General Pediatrics at Stony Brook University.

She has been a pediatrician with Children’s National Pediatricians and Associates since her move to Washington, D.C., in 2017 and is a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Baram lives in D.C. with her husband and enjoys jogging, biking, crossword puzzles and visiting her adult children.
