Biografía

Laura McWade Paez, CPNP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Children's National Hospital Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and is the coordinator of the Feeding Disorders Program. In this role, Laura evaluates and treats infants and young children with feeding disorders including, but not limited to, children with poor appetites, poor weight gain, food selectivity and dependence on tube feedings. She also serves as the coordinator of the multidisciplinary Feeding Disorders Team which includes specialists from psychiatry and nutrition and consultants in speech therapy and occupational therapy.
