Kiran Prasad, MD

Pediatrician

Kiran Prasad, MD, FAAP, joined Children’s National Pediatricians and Associates in 2025 and is a pediatrician at the Capitol Hill and Foggy Bottom locations. She completed her undergraduate training at Columbia University and earned her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University. She graduated from residency at the University of Texas Southwestern and stayed on as a chief resident and subsequently worked as an associate program director for the residency program.

Before moving home to the Washington, D.C., area, Dr. Prasad worked at a Down syndrome clinic, where she addressed the complex behavioral, developmental and medical needs of her patients. She now enjoys caring for children from the newborn age through adolescence and believes in empowering patients and parents with a comprehensive and detail-oriented approach to care.
