Fannie Brown, MD

Fannie Brown, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician with 29 years of experience providing compassionate, comprehensive care to children from infancy through adolescence. A proud graduate of Howard University, she earned a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1993 and completed a residency in General Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Medical System in 1996.

Throughout her career, Dr. Brown has been dedicated to promoting children's health, supporting families and advancing preventive care. Known for her warm bedside manner and deep commitment to patient education, she has built lasting relationships with families.

Dr. Brown has had the opportunity to shape the health trajectory of children from birth through adolescence through preventative care and early intervention in their health, nutrition and development to positively affect the rest of their lives.

She was drawn to the field because children are often resilient, curious, honest and joyful, which makes caring for them rewarding and enjoyable. Even though pediatrics can be challenging, it comes with moments of joy, laughter and hope. Watching a child grow and thrive under your care is one of the most fulfilling aspects of the job.
