Emma Larson, PhD, is a licensed psychologist who works in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Children's National Hospital. She earned her doctoral degree in school psychology from Louisiana State University, completed her clinical internship at the Nebraska Internship Consortium for professional psychology and her postdoctoral fellowship at Boys Town Center for behavioral health.

Dr. Larson has a background in working with children, adolescents and young adults experiencing difficulty with emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, coping with medical conditions and traumatic stress. She has a special interest in addressing psychosocial factors that contribute to disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBI) and working with individuals and families to improve quality of life.
