Emily Abbey, CPNP-AC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Children's National Hospital. Emily completed her undergraduate education at Virginia Tech, completed a nursing degree at Shenandoah University, and a master's degree as an advanced practice nurse practitioner at the University of Maryland. Prior to joining Children's National, she worked for over 10 years, first in the Pediatric Emergency Department of Inova Loudon Hospital and then with the Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant teams at Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital. Emily’s clinical interests include care of patients with oncologic, hematologic and bone marrow transplant related disease and their associated complications.
