Elizabeth Genevieve Ireson, MD

Elizabeth Ireson, MD, is a general pediatrician at Children's National Columbia Heights and a general academic pediatrics fellow. She completed residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2022, graduating from the Global Health and Primary Care pathways. After residency, she completed a chief resident year at Cincinnati Children's Hospital during which she worked clinically as a hospitalist. 

As a general academic pediatrics fellow, Dr. Ireson provides patient care as well as supervises medical students and residents. She is also involved in research, advocacy and health policy work.
