Craig Shapiro, MD, is an infectious diseases specialist in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C., and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

His research and clinical interests involve applying quality improvement processes to develop better efficiency in antibiotic ordering and diagnostic testing for infections. 

Dr. Shapiro enjoys golfing, biking and traveling with his family.
