Cecilia Therese Rowland, EDD

Cecilia Rowland, EDD, has been a practicing psychologist for 26 years predominantly working with children and families. Her passion involves empowering both children and parents by providing them with the necessary tools for success. Recognizing parents as influential in their children's development, she sees her role as giving them the tools they need to succeed in this endeavor. As children get older, her role is to give each youth the tools s/he needs to reach his/her fullest potential.

Dr. Rowland received her doctorate from Rutgers in counseling psychology. Prior to receiving her doctorate she worked in a number of areas (e.g. schools, Head Start, and outpatient mental health centers) but always with children. Since becoming a psychologist, she has provided care to children and families in outpatient centers; home-based therapy, and now in integrated primary care at Children's National.

She currently sees patients via telehealth one day per week.
