Ashley Gathers, MD, attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine and completed her residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School/Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in 2023.
Dr. Gathers enjoys taking care of children of all ages, and her specific clinical interests are asthma, early childhood development, mental health, integrative, lifestyle and holistic medicine. Dr. Gathers believes that holistic care allows for a humanistic approach to medicine where patients and families feel respected and a part of their care team. She values advocacy in pediatrics to facilitate effective communication, discuss social determinants of health and patient safety. Dr. Gathers enjoys concerts, trying new plant-based recipes, yoga, hiking and walks near the water.
