Ashley Lanzel, MD, MA, trained in pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital, pediatric hematology-oncology at Emory/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and hospice and palliative medicine at the National Institutes of Health. While at Emory University, she obtained a Master of Arts in bioethics. Her research focus is in decision-making, communication, palliative oncology and pediatric palliative ethics. She enjoys being a clinical educator. When she is not at work, she is having fun with her kids.
