Biografía
Anne P. Inge, PhD, is a psychologist specializing in diagnostic evaluation and neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Dr. Inge has extensive experience working with children with developmental disabilities at all ages and levels of functioning, including infants and toddlers, preschoolers, elementary and school age, adolescents and young adults.
Dr. Inge received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Miami in 2009 and pursued research with children and adolescents with ASDs. She completed her clinical internship at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Chapel Hill, with a primary focus in pediatric psychology. Dr. Inge completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, during which she specialized in early detection of ASDs in high-risk infant sibling cohorts.
Her research has focused on examining individual differences in child characteristics associated with motivational bias and their relations to comorbidity (e.g., anxiety, depression) and timing of diagnosis and outcomes (i.e., cognitive/language, social-emotional, attention/behavioral regulation) in children with ASDs. Additional interests include characterization of the ASD phenotype and how it relates across new populations of interest.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Inge has taught courses in the area of developmental psychology at the graduate and undergraduate level. She is an affiliate faculty member of the Child Health Advocacy Institute and program lead for the Extension for Community Health Outcomes (ECHO) Autism at Children's National.
