Biografía
Ammara Ahmed, DO, MHS, completed Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University. She obtained her DO from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed pediatric residency at Case Western Reserve University - MetroHealth Medical Center. At Hopkins, her research focused on the effect of mouse allergen reduction on asthma outcomes in low-income, urban children with persistent asthma.
Dr. Ahmed was the recipient of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Allergy and Immunology (SOAI) Outstanding Abstract Award in 2018. She completed her Masters in Clinical Investigation at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
