Biografía
Dr. Allison Ratto is a clinical psychologist specializing in autism at Children's National Hospital. Dr. Ratto conducts diagnostic and developmental evaluations for children and adolescents from early childhood through young adulthood. She has expertise in bilingual evaluation of children from Spanish-speaking families and in diagnostic evaluation of girls and young women. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ratto is actively involved in research on the evaluation and inner experiences of autistic girls and women; cultural differences in the experience and identification of autism; and developing and disseminating interventions for under-resourced communities.
Dr. Ratto received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed both her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Children's National.
